Astrologer Code of Conduct

These standards exist because members come to an astrologer at a serious moment in their lives — often about a marriage — and they are entitled to honesty, privacy and respect. By applying to be listed you agree to all of them. Version 2026-09-18

1. Who may be listed

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must practise astrology as a real discipline — Vedic, Sinhala, Western, palmistry or numerology among them — and be able to describe your training, qualifications or lineage.
  • You must be applying for yourself. Listing on behalf of another astrologer is not permitted.
  • One listing per person. Duplicate listings are removed.

2. Honesty about your credentials

  • Your years of practice, qualifications and tradition must be true.
  • Do not claim titles, affiliations, awards or certifications you do not hold.
  • We may ask for evidence of your qualifications at any time. A listing that cannot be substantiated is removed.
  • If your circumstances change — you stop practising, or your details change — update your listing promptly.

3. Fees and money

  • Your consultation fee must be stated clearly, or left blank to mean “on request”. Members must never be surprised by a charge.
  • Kasade takes no commission and is not a party to any consultation you arrange. Payment is entirely between you and the member.
  • Do not use your listing to sell unrelated goods or services, or to recruit members into any other scheme or business.

4. How you treat members

  • Be respectful and non-judgemental. Members come from every religion, ethnicity, caste and background, and several traditions.
  • Never claim that a reading, or the lack of one, will cause harm to a member or their family. Do not use fear to obtain money.
  • Do not pressure a member into a consultation, a repeat consultation, or any purchase. A decline ends the matter.
  • Do not comment on a member's appearance, health, fertility, or the character of their family in a way designed to wound or manipulate.
  • You are not a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser, and you must not present yourself as one. Do not advise a member to stop medical treatment.

5. Privacy and confidentiality

  • A member's birth details, and anything they tell you in a consultation, are private and confidential. Never publish, share or forward them.
  • Use their contact details only to arrange and conduct the consultation they asked for. No marketing, no contact lists, no adding them to groups.
  • Do not record a consultation without the member's clear permission.

6. Contact and conduct on Kasade

  • Keep all contact professional. Do not pursue a personal or romantic relationship with a member you met through a consultation.
  • Do not ask a member for their Kasade password, or for access to their account.
  • Do not use the directory to advertise anything outside your astrological practice.

7. Review, suspension and removal

  • Every listing is reviewed by our team before it appears, and reviewed again after any edit.
  • We may decline or remove a listing, with a reason, for a breach of this code, for credentials we cannot verify, or for repeated complaints from members.
  • Serious breaches — fraud, harassment, or misusing a member's private details — result in permanent removal.
  • You may ask to be removed from the directory at any time by contacting us.

8. What Kasade does and does not do

  • Kasade is a directory. We introduce members to astrologers; we do not employ them, supervise their readings, or guarantee their accuracy.
  • We do not run bookings, take payments, or mediate disputes over a consultation.
  • Listing on Kasade does not make you an employee, agent or partner of Kasade.
